What are we looking for?

Officer Requirements 
 

General Requirements 

  • Age: 21 years or older.

  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.

  • Education: High school diploma or GED.

  • Driver's License: Possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license with an insurable driving record.

  • Background Check: A comprehensive background check is mandatory.

  • Physical Examination: Must pass a physical fitness and agility test.

  • Psychological Examination: Must pass a psychological evaluation. *MMPI

  • Drug Screening: Must successfully complete a drug screening.​

Selected applicants are invited to an oral board or a Chiefs interview. There are two Co-Chiefs who may conduct this interview.
