Armed Metro Security Officers detain individuals for trespassing and other criminal activity. Once an individual is detained, the local authorities are called out immediately. Once law enforcement arrives we will either request a will file citation or depending on the severity we may ask that the individual be taken to jail. Local authorities are only legally required to complete a will file citation. They are not required to take anyone to jail on our accord.

Transient individuals are known to use Pool areas to bathe in, laundry rooms to keep cool or warm and use electricity. The list goes on. As for the wintertime, vacant apartments and offices get broken into nightly in attempt to escape the harsh conditions. They start fires to keep warm and of course... They use drugs and alcohol creating absurd property liability. A car with flashy lights driving through is not going stop these desperate individuals.
